This Common Law Marriage Book is a warning to anyone living in a Common Law Marriage
in a Southern State, such as North Carolina, which doesn’t recognize Common Law Marriages.

This non-fiction novel is about lies and deception by my former fiancée, my attorney,
and the North Carolina Justice System. My story takes place over 15 years,
from 1999 to 2014, in the Foothills of Western North Carolina.
